The only match that went past the minimum came at the top spot, where Nabilla Ariffin dropped the first game 11-9. She recovered to win in shutout fashion in the second game, and that set the tone as she won 11-5 in the third game and 11-4 in the fourth.
Penn's dominance was most clearly defined in the final four spots on the ladder, as the Quakers relinquished just 21 points in 12 games.
Penn will return to action this weekend in New England. The Quakers are slated to face second-ranked Yale and Bates on Saturday in New Haven, Conn., then face No. 10 Brown Sunday in Providence, R.I.
