PHILADELPHIA - The Penn women's swimming team plays host for the second time in as many weeks, when Dartmouth and Yale come to Sheerr pool on Saturday morning.
The teams begin diving at 10 a.m. and the swimming will commence soon after. The Penn seek to rebound from last weekend's loss to Harvard and move over .500 in the Ivy League for the first time this season.
To get over .500, the Quakers will once again rely on seniors Lauren Brandes and Andrea Balint, the only swimmers to earn first place finishes a week ago. Fellow classmate Melissa Gardel will also be counted upon to score points in the both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events following last weekend's first place finish in the 1-meter.
The Bulldogs come in with a perfect mark in the League this year. Yale beat Columbia to open their season and then took down Cornell last weekend, 207-93. Last season the Eli's beat Penn 152-148 and also beat out the Quakers for third place in the Ivy League Championships.
Dartmouth meanwhile, has yet to win an Ivy meet this season, entering the weekend with a 0-3 record. In the Big Green's last meet, they were almost doubled up by Boston University, 154-88.
