PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Penn women's swimming sits in ninth place with 54 points following the first day of swimming at the ECAC Championships.
Sophomore Casey Barnes-Waychus was Penn top individual finisher on the day as she took ninth in the 500 free with a time of 5:03.37.
The Quakers did well in their relays, as the Penn 400 yard medley relay team of Rebecca James, Jackie Hain, Amanda King and Erica Pangilinan finished ninth with a time of 4:02.26. In the 200 free relay, the quartet of Pangilinan Jennifer Dalmonte, James and Hain took 10th (1:40.70).
