Women's Swimming Returns to Action Against Harvard

PHILADELPHIA - The Penn women's swimming team gets back into the pool Saturday when it takes on the Harvard Crimson at Sheerr Pool at noon. The Quakers enter the meet 4-2 (1-2 Ivy League), while Harvard is 3-0 (3-0).

The Quakers have not hosted a meet since November 19 when they defeated La Salle, 142-93. Since then, they traveled to Gambier, Ohio, where they took fourth placeat the Kenyon Invitational, and then visited Ivy League rival Columbia in New York, falling to the Lions 184-114.

At Kenyon, sophomore Sara Coenen set a pool record with her victory in the 200-back. She also registered victories in the 100 and 200-back against Columbia.

Stephanie Nerby and Naomi Delphin also claimed victory against Columbia.

The Quakers and Crimson face off at noon at Sheerr Pool, located in the Pottruck Center.
