Women's Swimming Takes Care of Brown, 171-110

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. - The Penn women collected ten first place finishes in 16 events to clinch a victory over Brown on Tuesday on the campus of Florida International University.

The Quakers won 171-110 and Lauren Brandes led the charge, as she was a part of three first place finishes for the Red and Blue. The senior took top honors in the 50 free (24.60), 100 free (53.83) and swam the second leg of the 400 yard free relay (3:37.81).

Fellow classmate Andrea Balint swam well for the Quakers as well, anchoring the 400 yard free relay to victory and also winning the 200 IM in a time of 2:10.67. She also finished second in the 100 and 200 yard free, with times of 54.46 and 1.56.20 respectively..

Junior Naomi Delphin also recorded multiple firsts against the Bears, taking first place in the 200 (1:55.10) and 500 (5:07.36) yard free.

The Quakers improve to 2-2 in Ivy League action, but have a quick turnaround as they host Harvard on Saturday at 10 a.m.
