PHILADELPHIA – After a week off from competition, the University of Pennsylvania women’s tennis team continues its fall schedule traveling to play in the Princeton Invitational this Thursday through Sunday at the Lenz Tennis Center.
Six teams will compete this weekend, including the Quakers, host Princeton, Boston College, Columbia, Duke, and South Carolina.
The event will be played in a hidden-dual format, which does not have a team score like a traditional spring dual match but puts players from one school primarily against players from one other school in a session rather than a bracketed draw as in other fall individual events.
Penn has competed twice thus far this fall, hosting the 18th Annual Cissie Leary Invitational before playing in the 22nd Annual Tribe Invitational at William & Mary in Virginia.
The Quakers are slated to start singles play against Boston College at 11 a.m. on Friday.
