Women's Tennis Falls to Richmond, 6-1

PHILADELPHIA – The Penn women’s squash team wrapped up its first weekend home on Sunday with a 6-1 loss to Richmond. The Spiders swept all of the doubles matches and all put one of the singles matches. Senior Lauren Sadaka claimed Penn’s lone win during the contest. The Quakers are now 3-0 on the season.

Sadaka rattled off two 6-2 sets to down Erin Clark at No. 2 and prevent Richmond’s sweep of the Quakers. The duo of Ekaterina Kosminskaya and Alexa Ely gave Duran/Clark a run at the No.1 doubles match. The Spiders took the match during a tiebreaker to win 9-8 (3).

The Quakers are back on the court when they host George Washington on Feb. 20 at noon.
