Women's Tennis Hosts Saint Joseph's Saturday

PHILADELPHIA - With a 1-1 record, the Penn women's tennis will host Saint Joseph's University Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Levy Tennis Pavilion. This will be SJU's first match in the spring season.

With two matches under their belts, including a 6-1 win over Drexel and most recently a 5-2 loss to Georgetown last Sunday, the Quakers have had a chance to work early season kinks and nerves. The Red and Blue have been led by freshman Charlotte Ezratty who has won both of her singles matches in the No. 4 and 5 positions, as well as winning both of her doubles matches with teammates Alexa Ely and Rose Schlecker. The duo of freshman Emma Whitfield and sophomore Daniela DePaoli are also 2-0 in doubles play.

Penn will be Saint Joseph's first test of the spring season after going 2-3 in the fall. The Hawks earned wins over Rider (7-0) and Manhattan (5-2).
