Women's Tennis to Host Boston University Saturday

PHILADELPHIA - In the first match back on the East Coast after spending spring break competing in the University of San Diego Invitational, the Quaker women's tennis team will face Boston University Saturday at noon on Penn's Lott Courts.

Penn (4-7) went 1-2 at the invite with a 4-3 win over Portland and losses to San Francisco and host San Diego. Always a strong competitor for Penn, freshman Jules Rodin earned a win at No. 3 singles, while sophomore Daniela DePaoli and freshman Emma Whitfield won at the five and six position, respectively, in the victory over Portland. The duos of Emily Wolf and Rodin, and DePaoli and Whitfield earned Penn the doubles point.

The Quakers' last home match was all the way back on Feb. 28 in which they earned a 4-3 win over Bucknell.

BU comes into Saturday's match with a 6-7 overall record and riding a four-match win-streak. Spending their spring break in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the Terriers earned wins over East Carolina, Buffalo, and James Madison University.
