Women's Tennis Wraps up Play at Tribe Invite

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – On the final day of the 22nd Annual Tribe Invitational at William & Mary, the University of Pennsylvania women’s tennis team fell, 5-2, against Indiana in singles matches.

With just the one matchup slated for the Quakers, Penn saw sophomore Kana Daniel and freshman Lina Qostal win their individual matchups. Both matches went three sets before being decided, with Daniel winning 6-4, 4-6, 10-4, and Qostal winning 6-4, 4-6, 10-8.

One other match went three sets, senior Sol Eskenazi pushed the Hoosiers’ Katie Kylczek to a deciding set before falling 7-6 (11), 3-6, 10-8.

The Quakers will return to action as a team on October 3-5 at the Princeton Invitational.
