Women's Track Competes at ECAC Championships

Boston, Mass. – The Penn women’s track team turned in strong performances on the first day of action at the ECAC Championships.

Senior Claire Duncan finished 14th in the 5,000m with a time of 17:11.50 Junior Charity Payne placed 21st in the shot put with a through of 41’. Jesse Carlin advanced to the lines of the 500m run with a time of 1:12.94 which placed her third in her heat.

Penn will be back in action tomorrow for the final day of competition at the 2005 ECAC Championships.
