New York, N.Y.--The Penn women’s track team finished strong in the New Balance Invitational with multiple top finishes and a new school record in the distance medley.
The distance medley team finished second in an ECAC-qualifying time of 11:14.01, a new Penn record and five seconds under the Quakers' previous best indoor time.
Jesse Carlin was Penn's best individual finisher, notching a second-place result in the 800 meters with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 2:06.65.
Jamie Liberti also had an impressive showing, finishing third in the 5K with a time of 17:45, while Stacy Kim crossed the line third in the 1 mile with a time of 4:49.42, good for ECACs.
Anna Aagenes ran a time of 2:57.23 to earn tenth in the 1000 meters and qualify for ECACs.
The Quakers' 4x400 team finished fourth in 3:57.04, while the 4x800 team finished sixth with a time of 9:13.09.
In the field events, Camille Richardwas Penn’s best finisherat ninth place with 11.83 meters in the triple jump, her best of the season and an ECAC qualifying distance. Yelizaveta Lozovatskaya sailed to 3.3 meters in the pole vault, good for 16th place.
