Women's Track Places Seventh at ECAC's; Carlin Wins 400

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Quaker women's track team notched a seventh-place finish at this weekend's ECAC Championships in Princeton, N.J. Sophomore Jesse Carlin followed up her outstanding performance in the Heptagonal Championships last weekend with another one at ECACs, as she won the 400 with a time of 53.89 seconds which was just .27 seconds short of her school-record breaking time at Heps.

Other top performances for the Quakers included a sixth-place finish by Whitney Tagliavini in the long jump with a leap of 6.05 meters, and a fourth-place finish in the heptathlon by Shani Boston with 4,965 points.

Stacey Kim placed seventh in the 5,000, clocking in at 16:57.25, while Shaunee Morgan ranthe 200 in24.40seconds to place fifth.

The 4x100 relay squad of Brittany Middlebrooks, Morgan, Jessica Ehrlich and Carlin ran a 47.43 to place fourth, while the 4x400 team of Pari Hashemi, Morgan, Dana McCurdy and Carlin also placed fourth with a time of 3:45.26.

The Red and Blue scored 38 points as a team; the winner of the ECAC team championship was Pittsburgh, with 87 points.
