PHILADELPHIA - In the team's lone event of the day, the women's 4x800 relay squad of Christina Morrison, Dana McCurdy, Jesse Carlin and Stacy Kim destroyed a record that stood for 22 years at the Penn Relays on Saturday.

The four clocked in at 8:40.06 to best the previous mark of 8:54.64 by 14 seconds.

The Quakers placed fifth overall in the event, with the only Georgetown, Stanford, Tennessee, and winner Texas finishing higher.

The entire Red and Blue squad will be in action next week at the Ivy League Heptagonals, also held at Franklin Field, on May 6-7.
