PHILADELPHIA --The University of Pennsylvania wrestling team will have its final two dual meets of the regular season broadcast live on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN App this weekend as the Quakers host EIWA rivals Princeton (12 p.m.) and Drexel (2 p.m.) in The Palestra. Ivy League Digital Network subscribers will also be able to watch the broadcast through their subscription.
Penn's final Ivy League dual of the season will pit the Quakers against their storied rivals from New Jersey, both teams entering the weekend with 3-1 records in Ivy duals and a win away from securing second place in the League.
The back end of the doubleheader will see the Quakers host fellow University City resident Drexel in the second installment of the "Battle for the Abner's Cheesesteak Trophy." The Quakers won the trophy last year at Drexel and look to retain possession in the final dual meet of the regular season.
The two dual meets on ESPN3 and WatchESPN this weekend are the second home doubleheader for the Quakers to be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks this season. The Quakers swept an ESPN3 doubleheader over Lock Haven and Army on January 17 in the first-ever ESPN home broadcasts for the Red and Blue.
