WSwimming Comes Up Short to Harvard, Defeats Brown

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – In the final Ivy tri-meet of the season, the University of Pennsylvania women’s swimming and diving team split with Harvard and Dartmouth Saturday afternoon in the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center. The Quakers split the tri-meet, their second in-a-row after falling short to Yale but defeating Dartmouth last week, coming up 17 points short against the Crimson, 141-158, and beating the Bears, 175-124. The Red and Blue claimed two event wins and added nine second-place finishes, out of the 16 events.

The first Quaker to win an event, sophomore Ellie Grimes led Penn to a 1-2-3 finish in the 200 breast with her time of 2:20.36.
