Zack Rosen Named Co-Ivy League Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - The Ivy League has announced its weekly award winners in men's basketball, and Penn senior guard Zack Rosen shared the Player of the Week honors along with Yale's Greg Mangano.

This marks the second time Rosen has earned Player of the Week honors in his career. He is a two-time first-team All-Ivy selection, and this year he is one of just 30 candidates nationally for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award.

Rosen scored 26 points in Penn's season-opening win at UMBC on Friday night, going 10-of-16 from the field. He also finished with four rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Penn (1-0) is in action tonight againt Temple in its Big 5 opener. Later this week, the Quakers are at Rider and then host Robert Morris as part of the Philly Hoop Group Classic.
